The BILSTEIN B14 with approved adjustment range is now available for smart fortwo coupés and convertibles built from 2007 onwards.

Once the unit has been fitted, the enhanced driving dynamics and sporty performance can immediately be felt. Adjustments of between 5 and 20 mm can be made to the vehicle height, depending on the customer's requirements. Modifying the suspension height within the approved adjustment range is perfectly legal and can be done easily at any time with the threaded suspension system in situ. This gives the smart its own individual sporty appearance and settings. The BILSTEIN B14 threaded suspension unit means improved road holding, track stability and damping force. The refitment also substantially enhances the driving safety of this nimble car, making sharp manoeuvres much easier to cope with. This gives the driver more control over the vehicle, making handling safer, even when the road conditions are not ideal.
